The topic is “Local Economic Development in BiH – a way forward?” focused on the USAID Sida Growth-Oriented Local Development (GOLD) Project’s goals and objectives, main activities and achievements. It will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 18:30 at the American Corner Radićva 7 (across the street from Buybook).
Currently the Chief of Party on the USAID Sida GOLD project, Christopher Donahue is a Director with Deloitte Consulting LLP and has been leading development projects in Asia, Africa and Europe since 1997. He practiced commercial/corporate law in the United States, Russia and Kazakhstan before embarking on a career in international development, which was initially focused on commercial law reform but then graduated to project management. He has been the chief of party of a number of broad, multi-sector reform projects (fiscal, financial, commercial law, energy sector projects) in Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Montenegro, South Sudan and Bosnia. He has a J.D. from the University of California and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
